BMA Alumni Take Top Honors at NCAAs

BMA alumni had an incredible week at NCAAs. In a field stacked with
past and present World Cup skiers, BMA alumni walked away with two
individual national titles, three podiums and nine All-American
honors.

Robert Cone ’10 BMA, (Middlebury) won the Men’s GS title followed by Chris
McKenna ’12, (Middlebury) in 3rd and Dom Garand ’10, (UVM) in 5th.
Lizzie Kistler ’11, (Dartmouth) was 8th in the Women’s GS followed by
Mardi Haskell ’12, (Colby) in 10th. Watch the WCAX News story here.

Jack Hegman ’11 (UVM), the only Nordic alumni completing in NCAAs, was
6th in the Men’s 10K freestyle race.

On the final day of competition Dom Garand ’10, (UVM) won the Men’s SL title
and was followed by Rob Cone ’10, (Middlebury) in 10th. Mardi Haskell
’12, (Colby) was 4th in the Women’s SL just missing the podium. Watch the WCAX News story here.
