December Development Camp

December 20-22, 2020

Applications Open October 5th
Registration will remain open until December 1st

Three days of Fundamentals-based early season training

At BMA we believe that strong fundamentals are the key to long-term success in ski racing. BMA student-athletes typically spend 30-50 days on snow before their first races of the year. A significant percentage of those days are spent on focused free-skiing, mastering drills, and improving technique. For younger athletes, the percentage of free-ski and fundamental work should be even higher!

This camp provides U10, U12, and U14 athletes with an opportunity to improve upon proper technique and fundamentals, then take that positive momentum into gates. Camp athletes will work with our own BMA coaches, special guest coaches, and alumni.

We’ll take a customized approach to ensure each athlete is getting the most out of their time with us. If this is the first time on snow for the season, we’ll work through a fundamentals-based athletic curriculum (the same curriculum that we use for our own BMA athletes in their prep-period training). For those athletes who have skied throughout the fall, we’ll build on strong fundamentals with drill courses and increased volume to build repetition.
